I’m David Tran, MD, a primary care sports medicine physician with UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Born and raised in a Canadian border city across from Detroit, my academic journey has taken me all over the United States. I received my medical degree from the Windsor University School of Medicine in the West Indies in 2017.

I have spent a lifetime playing sports and have always been interested in the complexity of the human body. During my medical training at the University of Florida, my interest deepened as I witnessed the transformative work of orthopaedic surgeons.

My name is Ridhi Sachdev, MD, and I am an orthopaedic surgeon at UF Health. After receiving my medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, I stayed in state to complete my residency in orthopaedic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Robert C. Decker, M.D., earned his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York in 2003 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Emory University and his fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the University of California, San Diego.

Joseph "Jay" King, III, MD, earned his medical degree at Drexel University in 2006 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Drexel University and his Clinical Research Fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania.

My name is Jongmin Kim, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. I earned my medical degree from Dankook University in Cheonan, South Korea. Following medical school, I completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.

Dr. Thomas W. Wright obtained his MD degree from the University of Florida in 1983. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency from the University of Florida in 1989. Dr. Wright was given an Appointment as a Clinical Instructor with the University of Florida from 1988-1989.
