About Miranda Lee

Miranda is currently serving as an Outreach Athletic Trainer for Eastside High School while pursuing a Doctorate of Athletic Training degree with a concentration of teaching and leadership at the University of Florida.

Miranda Lee is originally from Enfield, Connecticut. Miranda graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College in 2021. Lee’s undergraduate experience allowed her to develop her skills in sports medicine by giving her the opportunity to evaluate injuries, develop treatment plans, and provide first aid for a diverse population of student athletes at Springfield College and neighboring schools. She then moved to Daytona Beach, Florida for an internship opportunity with the Daytona State College Sports Medicine staff where she was then offered a full-time position at Daytona State College in the Spring of 2022.

While working at Daytona State College, Miranda earned her Master of Science Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2024. Miranda’s graduate degree experience offered her more insight to the sports management side of the athletics and expanded her knowledge in risk management and facility operations.

Prior to enrolling at the University of Florida, Miranda has spent the past 4 years at Daytona State College where her primary responsibilities were men’s soccer, men’s basketball, and women’s flag football, while also sharing responsibilities for eleven total sports.

Miranda is also a member of the Athletic Training Association of Florida where she volunteers her time on the Public Relations Committee.
