Ivan De La Cruz, MS, ATC, LAT

Ivan De La Cruz is a certified athletic trainer and graduate of the University of West Florida, where he earned both his Bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Athletic Training. During his time at UWF, Ivan was a collegiate distance runner and later served as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the men's and women's cross country teams, combining his passion for endurance sports with athlete healthcare. 

Throughout his athletic training education and clinical experiences, Ivan has worked with a diverse range of athletes across multiple levels of competition. His experiences include serving with Pensacola State College Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball; the University of West Florida Football program; and West Florida High School, where he provided athletic training services for Boys' and Girls' Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, and Track & Field. Additionally, Ivan completed a clinical rotation at Andrew's Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, working alongside Dr. Presley in the sports medicine clinic setting. 

These experiences have allowed Ivan to develop a strong foundation in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play decision-making. He is passionate about providing high-quality patient care, fostering meaningful relationships with athletes, and continuing to advance the athletic training profession through lifelong learning and professional development.
