About Cong Chen
Cong Chen graduated from University of Florida with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering focusing on Biomechanics. He has over 10 years of experience in motion capture, sports analysis, and mechanical testing. He has developed and improved motion analysis programs for a wide range of sports activities including baseball pitching and batting, softball, volleyball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, archery, boxing, running and cycling. His current responsibilities include developing research study design, designing and making specialized fixtures for biomechanical testing and implementing motion analysis testing involved in the Orthopaedics laboratories and UF Sports Performance Center.
