The 2016 graduate of Monticello High School (MN) went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Economics from Saint John's University (MN) and was a member of their 2020 graduating class. While at Saint John's University, Tyler was a member of their football team, a captain his senior year, and started throughout his sophomore and senior seasons. Tyler went on to work in healthcare billing for two years following graduation. In 2025 he graduated with his Masters Degree in Athletic Training from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.   

In his time at Drake University, Tyler had clinical rotations among various local high schools and colleges in the Des Moines area. Most notably, Tyler spent his immersive rotation, throughout the fall of 2024, with the Florida Gators football program. In the spring semester of 2025, Tyler was awarded the Iowa Athletic Trainers' Society (IATS) Professional Scholarship. He was one of two recipients of this scholarship in the state of Iowa.  

Tyler lives within Gainesville and is looking to work within the Power 4 or Professional Sports following the completion of his degree.
