Division Support

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is composed of eight medical divisions, each of which offers a specialized area of high-quality patient care, education, and research. The department is also home to a research division, which encompasses numerous laboratories and centers. Private support is critical to our divisions and department, ultimately allowing us to achieve excellence in our missions. Education and Research in Arthroplasty Fund (F024117)

The Education and Research in Arthroplasty Fund was established in 2018 with gifts from division faculty and grateful patients. Gifts to this endowment support and foster the clinical, educational and research missions of the arthroplasty division. The missions of the division include training future generations of arthroplasty surgeons, enhancing UF as the preeminent joint replacement center in the southeast, and advancing the field of arthroplasty through high quality patient care and research.

 

Joan Roth Orthopaedics Endowment (F023817)

Gifts to the Roth Orthopaedics Endowment fund research, conference travel, and other needs to promote excellence within the hand and upper extremity division of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

 

Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Research Fund (F013811)

Gifts to this fund support orthopaedic and sports medicine research.

 

Orthopaedic Trauma Research Fund (F018563)

Gifts made to this fund support the research missions of the department; including but not limited to travel, books, dues subscriptions, meetings and conferences, food, etc.

 

Osteosarcoma Research Fund (F013303)

Gifts made to this fund support osteosarcoma research.

 

Sports Medicine Excellence Fund (Pre-endowment)

The Sports Medicine Excellence Fund is in progress as a pre-endowment. Gifts to this initiative will help establish an endowment that support the missions of the Sports Medicine division, which include training future generations of sports medicine providers, conducting research to prevent injuries and improve outcomes, and providing excellent patient care. Together these missions advance the aim for UF to serve as the preeminent sports medicine specialists in the southeast.
