Research in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is undergoing a period of significant growth. The Department is currently ranked 11th in the nation for NIH funding in orthopaedic research. As the Research Program Director, MaryBeth Horodyski EdD, LAT, FNATA oversees research for faculty, fellows, and residents in the Department. The Division of Research staff includes a Senior Grants Specialist, several Clinical Research Coordinators and numerous research interns. The staff is dedicated to supporting all aspects of clinical, translational and basic research for the Department.
