About Sara Gould
As a sports medicine physician, I am passionate about optimizing human performance with a strong emphasis on safety and injury prevention. I earned my medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed my residency in emergency medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York and pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
Throughout my career, I have been honored to work with athletes of all kinds, including consultant positions with the NBA and NFL. My love of horses and equestrian sport inspired me to apply my medical expertise to this athlete population, helping equestrians recover from injury and safely return to competition. I’m especially passionate about injury prevention and advancing safety standards in a sport that has long lacked a focused medical infrastructure.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my horses or spending time with my family. These two parts of my life keep me grounded and inspire my work every day.

I am a relatively new patient. The first exam was very thorough and good communications. The second exam was a brief check in. Just had the 3rd visit and she did injections in my hips. This was my first experience with that, so we'll see how that works. I have a followup in 3 months.
