Orthopaedic Surgeon

I have spent a lifetime playing sports and have always been interested in the complexity of the human body. During my medical training at the University of Florida, my interest deepened as I witnessed the transformative work of orthopaedic surgeons.

My name is Ridhi Sachdev, MD, and I am an orthopaedic surgeon at UF Health. After receiving my medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, I stayed in state to complete my residency in orthopaedic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

My journey in the field of medicine started back in 1984 when I graduated from Assiut University, Faculty of Medicine, Egypt. Thereafter, I've pursued further education and training, earning a master’s degree in Orthopedics in 1988, followed by a PhD in 1993. For over two decades now, I've held the position of Professor of Orthopedics with involvement in administration since 2010.

Richard Rhodes, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon at Halifax Health | UF Health – Medical Center of Deltona.

Andrew Hayden, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon at UF Health Orthopaedics – Medical Center of Deltona who specializes in sports medicine and uses minimally invasive techniques to treat injuries and conditions of the knee, shoulder, hip and elbow. Dr.

Michael Talerico, MD, is a clinical assistant professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Matthew R. Patrick, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, followed by a residency in the department of orthopaedics at the University of Florida. He then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma as well as shoulder and elbow surgery with the department of orthopaedics at UF.

Thomas Krupko, MD, earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH.

Dr. Hagen was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and has received her training all across the USA and Europe. She recently moved to Gainesville with her husband Charles H. Chesnut IV MD to begin her career as an orthopedic traumatologist. She is interested in treating patients with fractures of their extremities and pelvis, teaching residents and fellows, and research.

Robert C. Decker, M.D., earned his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York in 2003 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Emory University and his fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the University of California, San Diego.
