June 12, 2026
Before surgery Dr Patrick gave me option between hip repair and replacement. Later, I asked him if doing that was better in the long run than replacement because I didn't remember what he told me at the initial visit. He explained why my repair was better, and pointed out that in the future I may develop arthritis related to injury and they may have to do a replacement at that time. I feel more confident in the decision I made and better educated regarding the future of my condition.
