Clinical Professor and Division Chief

Nigel Price is a full clinical professor and the Shriners Endowed Chair of Pediatric Orthopedics. He has focused on non-operative and operative care of children and adolescents with spinal disorders. He also has managed spinal and non-spinal trauma for over 30 years. Research interests include spinal disorders, spina bifida, pediatric trauma, and return to sport post spinal surgery.

Assistant Professor

Stephanie Ihnow is an Assistant Professor who has an interest in complex spine deformity surgery as well as lower extremity disorders in children including DDH and clubfeet. She has broad research interests in spinal disorders and has been innovating physeal bar resections with enabling technology. She has published optimizing patients for spine surgery and has presented original research on the etiology of scoliosis in collaboration with UF scientists.

Clinical Professor and Division Chief

Jessica McQuerry is an Assistant Professor with an interest in spinal disorders and lower extremity disorders. She has extensive experience with waterproof Mehta casting in syndromic patients. She has published on Vit D optimization in pediatric fractures. She has been very active with medical student and resident education.

Assistant Professor

Kirsten Norrell is an Assistant Professor and the the Medical Director of the Gait Lab. She has an interest in lower extremity disorders in neuromuscular patients and adolescent hip conditions. Her research interests include gait disorders in children and segmental bone loss injuries in children.

Advanced Practice Providers 


 

The advanced practice providers in our division are: Jody Duffield, Jessica O'Madigan, and Derek Wilson. They work Monday through Friday and are a tremendous resource for residents and fellows.
