The 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report's best hospitals survey has ranked UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute #26 among the nation's top providers for orthopaedic care. This year's report once again ranked the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital as the most nationally recognized adult and pediatric specialties among Florida hospitals. The analysis of more than 4,500 adult hospitals again puts UF Health in elite company with health systems nationwide that are ranked in medical specialties.
National Athletic Training Month is held every March in order to spread awareness about the important work of athletic trainers. Athletic trainers (AT’s) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
