About Sarah Chrabaszcz

My name is Sarah Chrabaszcz, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor in the UF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. I received my bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Following medical school, I completed my residency in emergency medicine at Virginia Tech in Roanoke, Virginia, and my fellowship in orthopaedics and sports medicine at the University of Florida. I am also a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

I treat patients with a variety of conditions including acute orthopaedic injuries, concussions, chronic sports-related injuries and acute management of musculoskeletal injuries. I also tend to patients with musculoskeletal trauma in the emergency department. In addition to treating patients acutely, I enjoy assisting patients through the recovery process to improve their quality of life. As a physician, I strive to develop a professional relationship with my patients and help them make the most informed decision about their health. I consider it a privilege to work closely with patients and for them to place their trust in me.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends and family and playing volleyball and golf.

Very good experience! Referred for an urgent walk in issue from our home an hour away. We had little to no wait time from the minute we checked in to discharge! She had an X-ray, saw a nurse, PA, the MD, had her boot and crutches and in our car in about an hour!
