About Kalia Sadasivan

Kalia Sadasivan, MD, earned his medical degree at Columbia University in 1974 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He came to UF in 2006 to work in the Department of Orthopaedics and is currently Chief of Trauma.

Sadasivan's clinical practice focuses heavily trauma related conditions. He has published scientific papers in journals such as the Journal of Trauma and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

Sadasivan was elected to membership in the American Orthopaedic Association and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of several other professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
