My interaction was brief but fruitful. She informed me that she will be on maternity leave and hence my future appointments will be at Gainsville this year. I hoped that there will be her replacement to make things easier for the patients, but it appears that that may not happen.

Miss Kelsey treated me with respect and courtesy to listen to what I had to say and she reassured me and was able to answer all of my questions. I really like her! She put my mind at ease and disgust a treatment plan to help me with my knee with a number of choices. I like that!

She took her time, explained my condition in a way I could understand, and explained follow up and what I could expect next.

This doctor told me that because my son wasn’t exhibiting “pain” that his MRI that we brought in most likely doesn’t show a tear. She then said that the MRI was poorly done and made us redo it yet 2 other doctors we saw (1 in Citrus County, and 1 at this facility) but confirmed that his meniscus was torn based on the MRI. You do not say the MRI is “poor” but if my son showed more pain then she would think otherwise. My son is 265lbs and an athlete, she was hardly 100. Any exam she did on my son would not be enough to make him “grimace” or show pain to her satisfactory. I wasted 2 appointments at this facility, my son missed 3 days of school and yet we have to go back again tomorrow. Add that to two unnecessary imaging (xray and MRI) since they were just done in Citrus county.
