About Erika Griffith
A native of Alachua County, Erika has been a part of the Gainesville community and its surrounding areas for her entire career. With more than 20 years of experience serving the healthcare communities, Erika is passionate about helping people and finding the most efficient solutions for her customers. After joining the UF Health Team as a Regional Manager for Business Development with the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Erika has connected numerous referring physicians and medical practices to the department to streamline patient referrals and expand into new markets.
Erika holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and graduated with honors from both National and International Honor Societies. She is constantly building relationships by visiting offices, making phone calls, and sending electronic communication to connect with key physicians, nurses, and office managers. Constantly identifying opportunities within the medical community to expand her network, she analyzes physicians needs and stays on top of the latest technologies they are using to improve patient care.
Another role that is significant to the team is her ability to organize Continuing Medical Education talks to maintain, develop, and increase the knowledge and skills of licensed physicians. You can also find her conducting educational activities throughout the community to ensure that patients have an understanding of why the Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Department has been recognized among the nation’s top 50 in the US News 2024-25 Best Hospitals Report. Erika also attends various networking and industry events around the state for the purpose of increasing awareness, expanding her knowledge, and forming relationships.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys traveling, golfing with her husband, and camping with their four children and 1 grandson.
