She was wonderful. However, I did read my after visit summary and there was a lot of information there that was not discussed with me and I find it disingenuous and unethical to document conversations with patients that did not happen.

Amanda was awesome and blew my mind when she said she was going to send me home with ALL of my privileges! I did not need the walking boot like predicted. My recovery has been so much better than I could have EVER anticipated! Amanda made my day! I went home and after two grueling weeks of non-weight bearing recovery on the knee scooter, I had a WONDERFUL night, and slept sooooo good, with that oh-so-heavy soft splint removed...... My wound is closed, looking great, she said! I was so shocked I didn't even need a walking boot. No, not shocked, but more like grateful and so so SO thankful to everyone who helped me through this! It was my 4th foot surgery on my left food. I said I'd NEVER have surgery again, even after meeting Dr. Wang a year ago. But the pain continued, got worse, until I had to come back. Made the right decision, at least so far it feels like it! I would like to thank everyone involved, from the receptionists at the beginning, to everyone in between, to the receptionists who checked me out. You guys have been amazing so far! THANK YOU!!!! A++++++++=

I am my own advocate and like in-depth conversation because I'm invested in it and my own body, so I have questions that I discuss openly. I understand there is likely a 15-min window for each patient since there are many people in the waiting room. I try to be succinct and also read my chart on the UF Health Portal. Sometimes the language is meant for hospital professionals; I spoke with Amanda about this wishing for better clarity/transparency in my charts. She has responded very well, and we have a good rapport.

I gave all 5's because she actually did exceed in all areas. Let me choose my best options, gave multiple options to choose & is very sensible. It's nice not to have a pushy salesperson attitude and let the body choose the next step. Not necessarily jumping into surgery but giving a natural recovery opportunity. I truly appreciate that option because it's rare.

I was seen quickly and efficiently by the PA with my issue. A physician did read my Xrays and confirmed findings which put me at ease as well. PA told me to contact them at any point in the future if things aren't healing the way they should be. Great bedside manner and care with my injury
