The UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute will be providing Free Pre-Participation / Sports Physicals to all youth, high school, and Pop Warner students that will be participating in athletics for the 2023-2024 school year.

The UF Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine's Dr. Kevin Farmer was named the 2023 SEC Team Physician of the Year. This annual honor is voted on by fellow sports medicine staff from each of the 14 schools in the Southeastern Conference. Dr. Farmer has served as a University Athletic Association team physician for the Florida Gators for the last 13 years, and was recognized for excellence as an orthopedic surgeon.

This one week seminar is an immersion experience in basic musculoskeletal pathology, correlated with radiographic and imaging staging techniques, histologic diagnosis, and principles of treatment covering the gamut of musculoskeletal lesions.
The OSMI welcomes Ken Gall, PhD, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Material Science at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Gall will be presenting a talk to faculty and residents entitled, "3D Printing of Synthetic Materials in Medicine."
