UF Orthopaedics resident W. Zach Stone received the 1st Place resident research awarded at the 2017 Florida Orthopaedic Society Annual Meeting for the study entitled, "Clinical evaluation of alpha defensine in diagnosing periprosthetic joint infection."

Dr. Jay King, OSMI ASES Fellow, has been selected as a finalist in the Fellows Research Competition for the Florida Orthopaedics Society (FOS). He will present his abstract, entitled "Is Humeral Component Cementation Necessary In Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty?" during the 2013 FOS Annual Meeting.
