The Florida Orthopaedic Society (FOS) welcomes Dr. Kevin Farmer as their 68th President.  The FOS was founded in an effort to raise the standards of orthopaedic practices by providing ongoing education, networking, recognition and certification.

Dr. Kevin Farmer, MD, is a board certified surgeon with a focus in orthopaedic sports medicine and a subspecialty in shoulder surgery. He's a Johns Hopkins graduate who completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery from the very same school after receiving his M.D. in 2003.

Dr. Farmer has affiliations with the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Shands Live Oak Regional Medical Center.  He currently serves as the team physician for the University of Florida Athletic Association. He has published 12 book chapters and 30 peer-reviewed publications in various clinical journals.
