UF Ortho Residents and Fellows receive awards at the 2015 Florida Orthopaedics Society Annual Meeting

UF Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Residents and Fellows took home several awards at 2015 Florida Orthopaedics Society (FOS) Annual Scientific Meeting.  This year's meeting was held at The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club from June 4 - 7, 2015.

Dr. Wes Frevert, MD, and Dr. Christoper Matthews, MD, win the 2015 FOS Ortho Bowl

Congratulations to the following Award Winners:

  • Dr. Wes Frevert, MD, and Dr. Christoper Matthews, MD, for winning the Ortho Bowl this weekend at Florida Orthopaedic Society!  They won by a tremendous margin.
  • Dr. Bobby Dezfuli, MD, Hand Fellow received the recognition for the Best Fellow project entitled, "Outcomes of Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty as Primary Versus Revision Procedure for Proximal Humerus Fracture."
  • Dr. David Sollaccio, MD, Orthopaedic Resident received recognition for the Second place for resident project entitled, "Clinical Predictors for Optimal Functional Outcomes in Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty."
