The UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute is proud to be hosting our fourth annual Heat, Heart and Head Sports Medicine Symposium on July 30, 2016.
The focus of this symposium is to educate coaches and their staff with the latest information about major areas of concern in youth sports:
- heat illness
- sudden cardiac death
- concussions
- asthma
- abdominal injuries
There will be additional hot topics in sports covered as well - and all by experts in their field. on the three most deadly sports conditions: heat illness, sudden cardiac death and concussion.
This is a FREE educational event is open to all coaches and administrators of schools and sports organizations - all
ages and all sports. Lunch will be provided as well as a tour of the new UF Indoor Football Practice Facility.
