The UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute is proud to be hosting our third annual Heat, Heart and Head Sports Medicine Symposium on July 25, 2015.
The focus of this symposium is to educate coaches and their staff on the three most deadly sports conditions: heat illness, sudden cardiac death and concussion. Our physicians will address the signs and symptoms associated with each condition as well as how to most effectively treat them and determine return to play. Other topics will include Emergency Action Plans, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning and more.
