UF Orthopaedics surgeons present AOSSM webinar on ABOS Board Preparation

Sports medicine surgeon Ryan Roach, MD, MS and Hand & Upper Extremity surgeon Jonathan Wright, MD of the UF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine were selected by the AOSSM to present on “ABOS Part II: Board Preparation.” This live webinar will focus on helping sports medicine orthopaedic surgeons prepare for the ABOS exam Part II Oral Exam.

The Part II Oral Examination is the second of the two parts of the certifying examination for orthopaedic surgeons. The oral examinations are given each summer in Chicago. Approximately 700 candidates take this examination each year. The purpose of the oral examination is to evaluate the candidate’s clinical competence.

The webinar will cover the structure of the examination, available resources, methods for board collections period and how to effectively prepare for the exam after cases are selected.
