Dr. Kevin Farmer, MD, and Dr. Seth Smith, MD, served as Faculty Representatives to the Florida Alliance for Sports Medicine (FASMed) at their Inaugral Summit meeting held during February 21-22, 2014.  Dr. Seth Smith presented a lecture on the "Techniques of Hydration".  Other topics presented at this year's summit included:

• Heat Illness
• Emergency Preparedness

FASMed is an organization is committed to protecting the well-being of student athletes by advocating on behalf of the providers of sports-related orthopedic and other medical services in Florida as well as providing a forum for continuing communication among individuals and groups concerned with the prevention and treatment of sports-related injuries.
