The OSMI welcomes Vineeta T. Swaroop, MD, from Northwestern University at Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Swaroop will be presenting a talk to faculty and residents entitled, "Management of the Hip in Cerebral Palsy."

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Define and describe the spectrum of hip involvement in patients with cerebral palsy.
  2. Recognize the importance of hip surveillance in patients with cerebral palsy and identify the components of a surveillance program.
  3. Discuss surgical treatment options for hip pathology in patients with cerebral palsy.
