The OSMI welcomes Thomas A. Zdeblick, MD, A.A. McBeath Professor and Chairman at the University of Wisconsin Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.  Dr. Zdeblick will be presenting a talk to faculty and residents entitled, "ALIF, LLIF, TLIF - When and Why."

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define various conditions of degenerative lumbar spine pathology and be able to categorize these conditions based on radiography and symptoms.
  • Recognize treatment choices for degenerative lumbar spine pathology.
  • Illustrate how to recognize degenerative lumbar spine pathology and contrast various surgical approaches used for treatment.
