Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Utilize the literature to inform patients about the expected outcomes following primary anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Inform patients when to expect a plateau in recovery following primary total shoulder and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Inform patients how fast to expect recovery following primary total shoulder and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Compare the effectiveness of primary total and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
