
Profile Information
Toby Harkins serves as an Athletic Trainer for UF Health Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute. One half of his role is fulfilled as a clinical ATC at OSMI, and the other half of his time is spent as a mentor to 5 graduate assistant athletic trainers at Bell, Trenton, Oak Hall, PK Yonge Developmental School and Eastside HS’s. He also acts as a liaison between the AT’s at local High Schools and the providers in the clinic. Toby has served as an ATC since 1998 and remains a passionate proponent of our field both in the general public and the medical community. Before joining our team, Toby served in the collegiate setting as a Head Athletic Trainer for 15 years. Toby serves as the Chair of the ATAF COPA Committee and as the Florida Representative to the SEATA COPA committee. Most importantly, Toby is married to Kelly, an AT and PA, and they have two children, Sully who is 9, and Paisley who is 6.
