Mikayla Franklin is a Resident Athletic Trainer with UF Health working at Hawthorne Middle/High School. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Athletic Training with a Concentration in Sports Performance at the University of Florida. Mikayla is Licensed in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania, board certified by the BOC, and a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.

Mikayla graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership in May 2022. While at Mercyhurst she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the women’s lacrosse, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s tennis teams.

Prior to moving to Mercyhurst, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Florida in May 2020.
