
Profile Information
Nigel J. Price, MD, FAAP, FAAOS, FRCSC, is a clinical professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine, and he serves as the division chief of pediatric orthopaedics at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Price achieved his medical degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. There, he also completed his residency and fellowship in orthopaedics, whereby he served as the chief resident. After his time at Queen’s University, Dr. Price pursued two additional fellowships in pediatric orthopedics, one at Adelaide and Women and Children’s Hospital in Australia, and another at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Dr. Price is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a part of various committees and memberships, such as the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and is an active fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Scoliosis Research Society. Dr. Price has contributed to a multitude of research publications, posters and educational activities. As a spine surgeon, his special interests include scoliosis, spina bifida and other spine deformities.
