Kayla Kieffer is a Resident Athletic Trainer with the University of Florida’s Doctor of Athletic Training Program with a concentration in Orthopedics. While pursuing her Doctorate, Kayla is serving as the head athletic trainer at Buchholz High School. Her responsibilities at Buchholz include prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for all of the high school athletes, as well as coverage of all home practices.

Kayla completed her bachelor’s degree at Erskine College in Due West, SC. After graduating Kayla worked as head athletic trainer Emerald High School in Greenwood, SC for 2 years. Kayla is BOC certified and licensed by the State of Florida as an athletic trainer.
