The event will be for current UF medical students. Women in first and second year of medical school (MS-1 and MS-2) who are undecided about specialty choice or those definitely interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics are encouraged to apply. In addition to lectures from local women surgeons, participants will also perform two hands-on skills module. The purpose of this free, one-evening program is to connect female medical students with an interest in orthopaedics to like-minded peers and professional mentors.  Participants must gender-identify as female or nonbinary and currently be in medical school (MD or DO).
