Administrative Internship
The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida College of Medicine provides a full-time 12 week summer internship designed for students enrolled in accredited graduate level programs in Health Services Management. The internship’s primary focus is physician group operations and management in an academic health system environment. The position includes project management in physician revenue cycle principles, strategic marketing and planning, research and decision support. Located in North Central Florida, Gainesville is the educational, business and cultural center for the region and provides easy access to an array of metropolitan offerings such as Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa.
