William Enneking, M.D., Fund for the Advancement of Orthopaedic Surgery

Fund for the Advancement of Orthopaedic Surgery

In honor of William Enneking, M.D.

We are in the process of gathering pledges and gifts to establish a permanently endowed professorship chair in honor of Dr. Enneking.

Since 1960, Dr. Enneking has personally trained more than one hundred surgeons through the UF residency and fellows program and influenced an additional 4,250 through the annual Musculoskeletal Pathology Course. Dr. Enneking has become known nationally and internationally as an innovator in the field of orthopaedic surgery and musculoskeletal pathology. He is a beloved faculty member and fondly known as the “father” of the UF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. To this day, Dr. Enneking remains involved at the University of Florida where he serves as a Distinguished Service Professor with the Department.

Gifts of all sizes are welcomed, as each sends a meaningful message of support for Dr. Enneking. Leadership gifts or pledges of $100,000 or more, which can be made over three to five years, may be eligible for a 50% match from the State of Florida.

Gifts by check should be made payable to the UF Foundation, with the memo noting the Enneking Fund #0013019. Please direct gifts or questions to:
