Faculty Practice Opportunities

The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking applicants for full-time academic positions. The department's clinicians provide services both at Shands at UF and a new, state-of-the-art, 127,000 square foot UF Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute. Located in North Central Florida, Gainesville is the educational, business and cultural center for the region and provides easy access to an array of metropolitan offerings such as Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa.

Applicants with a subspecialty interest of:

  • Adult Reconstruction
  • Pediatric Orthopaedics
  • Physical Medicine: Spine | MSK Sports
  • Foot & Ankle
  • Oncology
  • Trauma

are encouraged to apply. All applicants must have completed fellowship training and be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Excellence in patient care and resident teaching is expected. Biomechanical, Basic Science and Clinical research opportunities are available.
